Mango Leaf Carved from Green Alabaster
In the last post we saw the grain patterns in my black and white alabaster torso, Namid.
The leaf of my Mango and Leaf piece that you’ll see in the video below was made from red and green alabaster. The stone was an absolute delight to carve! Surprise bonus: rings of green and red stone that “flowed” with the hollow form that I made for the mango to sit.
